NEO SOUND ENTERTAINMENT LLC is your one stop shop for all of your event production needs. We strive to provide the world class entertainment and the best technical solutions for your event. After serving Los Angeles and Southern California for nearly 15 years, the founder and CEO (award-winning musician and producer), Ilya Serov decided to open a new office in Austin and moved his family (his wife Amanda and his 3 year old son Caden) to Texas.
NEO SOUND ENTERTAINMENT LLC started strictly as a live music entertainment company, providing live jazz acts for events and concerts. Now the company provides a variety of services in addition to live music, such as DJs, dancers, live audio, lighting, visuals, photography, videography, graphic design, staging and draping. We cater to events of all types and sizes: private and corporate events, fundraisers, galas, conferences, music festivals and concert series. We custom tailor all of our live entertainment options are customizable to fit the vibe of the event and physcal space of the venue.

Award-winning trumpeter, vocalist, producer and a founder of Neo Sound Entertainment LLC, ILYA SEROV started his musical journey at the age of 7. During his childhood and teenage years Ilya studied classical music and later graduated with the Bachelors and Masters degree in music performance and education in 2008. While in college Ilya started getting into jazz music and developed a huge passion for this amazing art form. His earliest jazz influences were Chet Baker, Miles Davis, Frank Sinatra, Nat “King” Cole and Dean Martin among others.
After graduating Ilya started his proffesional music career in Los Angeles as a recording artist and touring musician. In 2013 Ilya released his first studio album, (a big band with live strings) that pays tribute to the music of the Great American Songbook with Ilya's original twist. Possessing both chops and charisma, Ilya’s live performances and studio recordings are infused with imagination and energy, attracting a solid, worldwide fan following.
In 2014, he was awarded Best New Artist at the Hollywood International Entertainment Awards. Around that time Ilya's music adventures led him to perform at a number of Hollywood dig industry events including parties for the Oscar's, Grammy's, celebrity functions, giving him an idea to start his own entertainment production company in Southern California.
To this day, Serov recorded 4 studio albums and released 9 single. Serov’s recently-released fourth album, Colors, has been received with much critical acclaim. His own composition and production skills were paired with the collaborative talents of some industry heavy-hitters in creating the album: GRAMMY® winner Paul Brown, multiple GRAMMY® nominee Darren Rahn, and
16-time Billboard chart-topper Adam Hawley.
Platinum-selling saxophone sensation Dave Koz took note of Serov’s talent. The two have worked together in numerous settings, with Ilya notably performing on his popular, international the" Dave Koz and Friends at Sea" jazz cruise every year since 2018. In 2021 Ilya Serov and Dave Koz released a single together. "Heat"
receiving considerable international airplay, with “Heat” making it onto the Billboard Top 30 Smooth Jazz Chart. In November 2021, Ilya was nominated as Breakout Artist of the Year by Smooth Jazz Network.
Other music industry greats with whom Ilya has collaborated include Jonathan Butler, Keiko Matsui, Cory Wong, Candy Dulfer, Haley Reinhart, BeBe Winans, Peter White, Kirk Whalum, Poncho Sanchez, Eric Marienthal, Larry Graham,
Serov regularly takes the stage at notable venues and festivals, including the Newport Beach Jazz Festival, Catalina JazzTrax Festival, Berk’s Jazz Festival, Mallorca Smooth Jazz Festival, Daytona Jazz Weekend, National Center for Performing Arts (Mumbai, India) among others. His jazz acumen has also been infused into the symphonic spectrum, with his band featured and his arrangements performed with the Riverside Philharmonic for its 2020 Celebrating America season.
Serov has even dipped his toes into the Hollywood film scene, co-writing with composer Ludwig Göransson one of the main themes (Drago’s Walk Out) for the 2018 cinema sensation, Creed II. His film recording credits include Dead Pool 2 and Addams Family 2, among others.
Today, Ilya Serov’s original music is played on SiriusXM Radio and other stations across the globe. Always driven by his mission to engage new generations of listeners, he continues to focus on contributing his creative voice to the world of music — honoring its past while highlighting its ever-changing present and future.
After more than 15 years in the industry Ilya has expanded his business with a new location and moved his family (wife Amanda and his 3 year old son, Caden) to Austin, TX.
